In January 2022, we proudly introduced the “accesso DEI Strategic Council” – a group comprised of diverse accesso team members – to enhance education, communication and awareness of DE&I, both throughout the company and beyond. Through the collaboration of our council members alongside our leadership team, we have already made great strides towards our goals, and will continue to work together

accesso has a longstanding history of investing in the communities in which we do business, with a focus on high-tech mentorship in local workforces. In 2022, accesso partnered with Black Orlando Tech to support their vision to train and inspire 10,000 minorities to enter tech by 2025.

Previous partnerships include organizations like Technovation, The UCF Programming Team, and 2U, Inc. – an organization on the mission to “eliminate the back row" in education. We remain dedicated to working hand-in-hand with our community to nurture and support the upcoming generation of tech professionals.

In 2023, we launched a partnership with Inclusively - a technology-centered employment solution and training platform connecting job seekers with disabilities to inclusive companies and careers - as part of our continued DEI efforts.

Why Inclusively? People with disabilities are the largest minority group and, in the U.S., more than one in four adults are living with some type of disability. In 2022, only 21% of people with disabilities were employed. This partnership has helped accesso to continue to be a part of driving positive change, as they provided us with a suite of resources to better hire, support and provide accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

About Holly Wareheim

Holly works alongside our People Team to hire the fantastic people that make accesso such a great place to work! She has over 6 years of experience in Recruiting and Human Resources and began her career at accesso in 2016 as an intern, quickly evolving into a full-cycle recruiter. Holly has since rejoined the People team in 2021 as a Senior Recruiter, and now leads the team as the Recruiting Manager. Her passion and ambition connect team members, department managers, and executive leadership in unity toward clear goals.


FUN FACT

When Holly isn’t recruiting, she’s enjoying time with her sweet baby, snuggling her four furry children, baking customized cookies, or golfing with her husband (who also works for accesso!)

About Victoria Diaz

Victoria is a Talent Acquisition professional with 6 years of agency recruiting experience and 2 years of experience as a Career Coach at UCF (GO KNIGHTS!). She joined the People Team in December 2019 and is thrilled to help facilitate the one-of-a-kind culture here at accesso – especially because that’s what she fell in love with during her interview process. Victoria brightens any room with her effervescent personality, and enthusiasm to find the best of the best talent!

FUN FACT

In Victoria's free time, she likes to chase after her two daughters and corgi Yogi, read thrillers (have you read Verity or The Wives?!), and support her alma mater, UCF!

Caity was born and raised in Georgia, where she still lives with her family. Her background in Project Management and Recruiting made her a perfect fit for the team when she joined in April 2022, as she loves meeting people! About Alex Oretsky

Alex is situated in the Sunshine State, where she is committed to enjoying as much of that sunshine as possible. She joined accesso as a coordinator in 2019, but quickly became immersed in supporting the team’s recruitment marketing efforts. In 2022, Alex began her new role as Talent Attraction Associate where she was honored to have the opportunity to craft the creative strategy behind showcasing accesso’s fun and collaborative culture to the world.

Depending on the position, we do have technical candidates take a quick assessment. We try to limit these assessments to no more than 1 hour. We use HackerRank to conduct these assessments, but don’t worry - we aren’t looking for perfection! The way you get to your answers is sometimes more important than the answer itself, so just do your best.
